Author Description
In keeping with the traditions of the literary racket, Richard A. Lupoff practiced many professions. In no particular order he was a dish washer, a college professor, a soldier, a filmmaker, a newspaperman, a short-order cook, a federal bureaucrat, a radio broadcaster, a music critic, and an anthologist. One of the most versatile and popular of modern authors, he wrote more than fifty books as well as uncounted short stories, screenplays, television scripts and magazine features. He holds the rare distinction of having stories selected for Best of the Year anthologies in three fields - science fiction, mystery, and horror. His novels and collections include Sword of the Demon, Space War Blues, Circumpolar!, Sun's End, One Murder at a Time, and Quintet: The Cases of Chase and Delacroix.
